Mid-American Air Center hosted the area’s largest celebration of the solar eclipse in partnership with the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. The two-day event was highlighted by the darkness along the line of totality for roughly 4 minutes, and the airport and chamber put together a great program to entertain local residents and long-distance travelers. Food trucks, a Kids Zone playground, two bands, camping, VIP dining during the preview evening the night before the eclipse followed by a Hangar Party made it a complete weekend.
