Foreign-Trade Zone

The Mid-American Air Center has the benefit of being a Foreign-Trade Zone. A Foreign-Trade Zone is a specially designated area, in or adjacent to a U.S. Port of Entry, which is considered to be outside the Customs Territory of the U.S..

64,500 Sq Ft Manufacturing Space

A 64,500 SF manufacturing space includes (4) drive-in doors, (3) dock doors, 12 foot-18-foot clear height and heavy power. Ameren feeds 480 volts with 1.5 megawatt to site and within the manufacturing facility there is 2,500 AMP 3 phase 480V service. Manufacturing site is situated within a foreign trade zone (FTZ 146).

Buildings For Rent

Building 302

This 10,000-square-foot building is located directly across the parking lot from the Mid-American Air center terminal and offers plenty of parking, security lights, patrol staff on site. Building has heaters. Rent is $400 a month with utilities paid by the tenant.

Storage

This 2,400-square-foot building is available and could be used as cold storage but also has heaters. Some repair might be needed, and any work could be taken off the rent. Monthly rental fee is $500 as is or negotiable if willing to invest in repair.

Contract Farming

Roughly 2,400 acres of farm land surround Mid-American Air Center, and the airport works with farmers under contract to generate many of the funds to operate the facility. Typically, the farming contracts are multi-year agreements.
